È disponibile in digitale “Qué Rico Fuera” (How Sweet It Would Be) (Sony Music), il nuovo singolo della superstar vincitrice di numerosi Grammy Awards RICKY MARTIN, per la prima volta insieme alla stella nascente della musica latina PALOMA MAMI. “Qué Rico Fuera” è il primo singolo estratto da “PLAY”, l’attesissimo nuovo album di Ricky di prossima uscita.
Sonorità pop unite a quelle afro-latine e a richiami al mondo Urban, accompagnati da un testo accattivante, rendono “Qué Rico Fuera” una perfetta hit estiva.
Il brano è scritto da Ricky Martin e Paloma Mami, insieme ai producer Wissem Larfaoui, Kevyn Mauricio Cruz e Juan Camilo Vargas,
È online anche il video ufficiale del brano (https://youtu.be/7UigkvOlpKs), diretto dal famoso regista Jessy Terrero e girato in un solo giorno nella California del Sud.
Ricky ha contattato Paloma, di cui apprezza da tempo i progetti discografici, per collaborare insieme su nuova musica. A causa delle restrizioni dovute alla pandemia, i due artisti hanno dovuto registrare le loro parti separatamente, ma in seguito si sono potuti incontrare per registrare il videoclip.
«Conoscevo bene il suo lavoro dato che cerco continuamente nuove voci nel panorama musicale. Quando è arrivata questa canzone, ho pensato immediatamente a lei. Paloma è una guerriera ed è oltremodo talentuosa. Sono così felice di essere riuscito a lavorare con lei. Spero che il pubblico si diverta quanto lo abbiamo fatto noi durante le registrazioni» spiega Ricky a proposito della sua scelta di collaborare proprio con Paloma.
«Quando mi ha chiamata, non potevo crederci. Ero così emozionata! Penso che chiunque avrebbe reagito come me realizzando di poter lavorare con una persona così talentuosa come Ricky – racconta Paloma – Per questa canzone sono uscita dalla mia comfort zone, ho scritto un testo un po’ più seducente del solito e l’ho adorato. I miei fans saranno molto fieri di me. Io, il Chile e la mia famiglia ne siamo entusiasti».
L’artista porterà il brano nel suo prossimo tour nel Nord America, che partirà a settembre insieme a Enrique Iglesias e l’ospite speciale Sebastián Yatra.

Ricky contacted Paloma , whose recording projects he has long enjoyed, to collaborate together on new music . Due to the restrictions due to the pandemic, the two artists had to record their parts separately, but they were later able to meet to record the video clip.
«I was well acquainted with his work as I am constantly looking for new voices in the music scene. When this song came, I immediately thought of her. Paloma is a warrior and is extremely talented. I am so happy that I was able to work with her. I hope the audience will enjoy it as much as we did during the recordings » explains Ricky about his choice to collaborate with Paloma.
“When he called me, I couldn’t believe it. I was so excited! I think anyone would have reacted like me by realizing that they could work with someone as talented as Ricky – says Paloma – For this song I went out of my comfort zone, I wrote a lyric a little more seductive than usual and I loved it.
