About IB

Bio

Isabella Bianchini was born in Milan where at the moment she leaves and works. After attending school for tourism, she attended specialist courses in foreign languages (English, French, and German).

Since ’97, after attending TV shows “Roxy Bar” and “Help!” hosted by Red Ronnie, Isabella writes weekely comments about the shows, published in the TV program official site www.roxyweb.it .

Furthermore, she supports an English group, Too Rude which does gigs all over Italy, promoting their cd “Too Rude live at Help”.

She believes a lot in this band’s musical talent, understanding what it means,  to let the music be the focal point at the expense of personal fame.

In 2002 one of her articles was published in the supplement “Estate” of the newspaper “Il giorno”.

On 17th June 2003 the article “Il Roxy Bar” secondo Isabella Bianchini (“Roxy Bar” in Isabella Bianchini’s opinion) was published on Roxy Bar’s site.

In 2004 she did the advertising campaign for the TV program “Cosa succede in città” on air on Channel Jimmy on Sky. She then wrote some reviews presenting the release of the DVD “Roxy Bar”. These have been published everywhere on the internet and are about the comment and content of every DVD. In that same period she worked for emerging artists joining the competition “Miti della musica”. Through the programmes “Help!” and “Roxy Bar” she’s been exposed to every kind of music, learning to understand what the artists need to know and do. She’s learned what it means to play live music when artists are nervous just before the show and worry about forgetting the song lyrics, as in a lot of shows music is played playback. She learned how to organize a live programme, where interviews  are not planned, the audience is spontaneous and technicians are well directed by the production.  After this Isabella worked for the online magazine Gufetto.it in Rome Here she became responsible for the Milan editorial office and she’s written in different fields such as music, cinema, books, travels, health and wellbeing.

She’s been attending live music events, books and films presentations, entertainment events such as the Motor Show in Bologna, press conferences of music shows such as “Festival Bar”, “Cornetto Free Music Festival” and “M.E.I. Moreover she’s been writing for other online magazines.

At this point she feels that she would like to reach a new goal so she’s opening Ibkoala’s site, where she writes articles about the show, and gives space to artists that dream of a career in this field. Ibkoala is always a work in progress and evolving site, readers are always welcome to interact writing into the comments category.

The idea of Isabella about emerging music? “Music is never emerging, it’s only brand new, you never consider an artist as emerging or famous, but only as an artist perhaps with more or less experience, for sure talent doesn’t burn from experience and passion as well. The secret to get the big break? To have talent and passion of course, a lot of charisma, professionalism, the right look, but moreover you have to believe it, you need to believe in your dreams. I mean you don’t need perfection but you need to have the artist’s attitude, being both spontaneous and human on the stage – this you can learn – whereas talent is a gift.”

Isabella likes different kinds of music, from jazz to rock, from blues to funk, from hip hop to R&B to classical music. She likes photography as she has a Canon Eos Mark II bought from a dear friend photographer. When she listens to tracks she talks about the emotions music communicates, those same emotions lived by the audience during concerts.
