25 giugno 2021 – I Måneskin, gli artisti italiani più ascoltati del mondo su Spotify – con 24 milioni di ascoltatori nell’ultimo mese – e con oltre un miliardo e mezzo di streaming totali, continuano la loro ascesa inarrestabile nelle classifiche internazionali, collezionando un nuovo risultato da record, mai raggiunto prima, posizionandosi #6 con “I WANNA BE YOUR SLAVE” e #10 con “Beggin’” nella Uk Singles Chart, confermandosi così la prima band italiana della storia con due singoli contemporaneamente nella Top Ten britannica. “I WANNA BE YOUR SLAVE” occupa anche la prima posizione della classifica Hot Hard Rock Songs di Billboard USA.
Damiano, Victoria, Thomas e Ethan con la loro energia hanno trasmesso in modo diretto il loro messaggio di libertà e voglia di lasciare il segno, e questi nuovi riconoscimenti vanno ad aggiungersi ai risultati straordinari che in poche settimane stanno raggiungendo dovunque.
Dopo la vittoria memorabile all’Eurovision Song Contest 2021, sono attualmente presenti nella Top 50 Spotify Global Chart con “I WANNA BE YOUR SLAVE” in posizione #11 (disco d’oro e 100 milioni di streaming, in Top 50 Spotify di 34 Paesi), “ZITTI E BUONI” alla #25 (triplo disco di platino e oltre 170 milioni di streaming, in Top 50 di 28 Paesi, in due dei quali in #1) e “Beggin’” in #5 posizione, brano che ha guadagnato un’importante scalata nella classifica con 5 milioni di streaming e che vanta la presenza nelle Top 50 Spotify di 61 Paesi (#1 in 10 Stati, fra cui la Germania) oltre alla posizione #1 nella Top 200 Shazam Global Chart.
Ma non si tratta degli unici successi ottenuti dai brani contenuti nel nuovo disco “Teatro d’ira – Vol. I”, già disco di platino e più di 400 milioni di streaming), uscito il 19 marzo e che si posiziona #1 nella classifica album in Svezia: “ZITTI E BUONI” e “I WANNA BE YOUR SLAVE” vengono infatti certificati oro anche in Turchia e Polonia, e quest’ultimo brano ottiene la certificazione oro anche in Irlanda.
Con 22 dischi di platino e 6 dischi d’oro (secondo FIMI/GfK) i Måneskin continuano ad aggiungere importanti nuovi tasselli al loro percorso artistico, rimettendo la musica italiana al centro attraverso il loro stile: una grande soddisfazione che il gruppo porta a casa senza scendere a compromessi, da condividere insieme al pubblico italiano e internazionale.

BIOGRAFIA
Gruppo rivelazione del 2017, i Måneskin, il cui nome significa “chiaro di luna” in danese, sono: Damiano cantante, Victoria al basso, Thomas alla chitarra e Ethan alla batteria. Alcuni dei componenti si conoscono fin dai tempi delle medie, ma è solo nel 2015 che i ragazzi iniziano a suonare insieme. Il sound della band è caratterizzato dalle diverse influenze musicali dei membri: un mix di rock, rap/hip hop, reggae, funky e pop, il tutto tenuto insieme dalla voce soul di Damiano, frontman del gruppo. Tutto ciò si rispecchia anche nel look della band, grazie al loro gusto ricercato che caratterizza lo stile di ogni membro. Durante i live show di X Factor 11, i giovani artisti hanno avuto modo di distinguersi e di colpire l’immaginario del pubblico, mostrando un’insolita padronanza del palco, estremamente notevole vista la giovanissima età. “Chosen”, il loro primo inedito, presentato durante il programma, conta milioni di streaming e visualizzazioni ed è stato certificato doppio platino. “Chosen” è anche il nome dell’EP di debutto, edito a dicembre 2017 da Sony Music e prodotto da Lucio Fabbri, che è stato certificato platino a soli due mesi dall’uscita. La band ha registrato sold out in poche ore di tutte le 21 date del primo tour prodotto da Vivo Concerti (febbraio/aprile 2018). A marzo 2018 è uscito il singolo “Morirò da Re” (triplo disco di platino), seguito da “Torna a casa” (quintuplo disco di platino). I brani hanno anticipato il nuovo album “Il ballo della vita” (doppio disco di platino), interamente scritto dai Måneskin e prodotto insieme a Fabrizio Ferraguzzo, uscito il 26 ottobre 2018. Il disco ha debuttato al #1 della classifica FIMI/Gfk con quattro singoli in Top Ten e, in meno di due ore dalla pubblicazione, ha raggiunto la posizione #1 della classifica iTunes, entrando, in un solo giorno dall’uscita, in TOP 50 Spotify con tutti i suoi brani e totalizzando 1 milione di stream in meno di 24h. A febbraio 2019 il gruppo ha attraversato in tour tutta Europa, prima di tornare nei principali club e festival italiani con la tranche primaverile ed estiva de “IL BALLO DELLA VITA TOUR”, che si è conclusa il 14 settembre 2019 con una data speciale al Carroponte di Milano. I Måneskin si sono poi esibiti il 28 novembre 2019 in un unico live speciale al The Dome a Londra, che ha registrato il tutto esaurito. Da settembre 2019 è in radio “Le parole lontane”, il singolo in italiano della band certificato disco di platino. Ad oggi Damiano, Victoria, Thomas e Ethan hanno conquistato 22 dischi di platino, 6 dischi d’oro e hanno collezionando più di 140.000 biglietti venduti con 70 date sold out in Italia e in Europa. Il 30 ottobre 2020 pubblicano il nuovo singolo “Vent’Anni” (disco di platino) accompagnato da una campagna fotografica firmata da Oliviero Toscani. Vincono la 71a edizione del Festival di Sanremo con il brano “ZITTI E BUONI”, doppio disco di platino, e trionfano all’Eurovision Song Contest a Rotterdam, conquistando il primo posto. Il 19 marzo 2021 esce il secondo album “Teatro d’ira – Vol. I” (disco di platino), a cui seguirà un tour di 13 date per la prima volta nei palazzetti italiani a partire da dicembre 2021 per concludersi all’Arena di Verona il 23 aprile 2022, oltre a un tour nei principali Festival europei, previsto per l’estate 2022.

June 25, 2021 – The Måneskin, the most listened to Italian artists in the world on Spotify – with 24 million listeners in the last month – and with over a billion and a half of total streams, continue their unstoppable rise in the international charts, collecting a new record result, never achieved before, ranking # 6 with “I WANNA BE YOUR SLAVE” and # 10 with “Beggin ‘” in the UK Singles Chart, thus confirming itself as the first Italian band in history with two singles simultaneously in the British Top Ten. “I WANNA BE YOUR SLAVE” also occupies the top spot on Billboard USA’s Hot Hard Rock Songs chart.
Damiano, Victoria, Thomas and Ethan with their energy have directly transmitted their message of freedom and desire to leave their mark, and these new awards add to the extraordinary results that in a few weeks they are achieving everywhere.
After the memorable victory at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021, they are currently present in the Top 50 Spotify Global Chart with “I WANNA BE YOUR SLAVE” in position # 11 (gold record and 100 million streams, in the Top 50 Spotify of 34 countries ), “ZITTI E BUONI” at # 25 (triple platinum disc and over 170 million streaming, in the Top 50 of 28 countries, in two of which in # 1) and “Beggin ‘” in # 5 position, a song that has earned an important climb in the ranking with 5 million streams and boasting a presence in the Top 50 Spotify of 61 countries (# 1 in 10 states, including Germany) as well as # 1 in the Top 200 Shazam Global Chart.
But these are not the only successes obtained by the songs contained in the new album “Teatro d’ira – Vol. I”, already platinum and more than 400 million streaming), released on March 19 and which ranks # 1 in the ranking album in Sweden: “ZITTI E BUONI” and “I WANNA BE YOUR SLAVE” are in fact certified gold also in Turkey and Poland, and the latter track obtains gold certification also in Ireland.
With 22 platinum records and 6 gold records (according to FIMI / GfK) Måneskin continue to add important new pieces to their artistic path, putting Italian music back at the center through their style: a great satisfaction that the group brings home without compromising, to be shared with the Italian and international public.

Revelation group of 2017, Måneskin , whose name means ” moonlight ” in Danish, are: Damiano singer, Victoria on bass, Thomas on guitar and Ethan on drums. Some of the members have known each other since middle school, but it was only in 2015 that the boys started playing together. The band’s sound is characterized by the different musical influences of the members: a mix of rock, rap / hip hop, reggae, funky and pop, all held together by the soulful voice of Damiano, frontman of the group. All this is also reflected in the look of the band, thanks to their refined taste that characterizes the style of each member. During the live shows of X Factor 11, the young artists were able to stand out and hit the public’s imagination, showing an unusual mastery of the stage, extremely remarkable given their very young age. “Chosen”, their first unreleased, presented during the program, has millions of streams and views and has been certified double platinum . “Chosen” is also the name of the debut EP , released in December 2017 by Sony Music and produced by Lucio Fabbri, which was certified platinum just two months after its release. The band sold out in a few hours all 21 dates of the first tour produced by Vivo Concerti (February / April 2018). In March 2018 the single “Morirò da Re” (triple platinum) was released , followed by “Torna a casa” (five times platinum) . The songs anticipated the new album “Il ballo della vita” (double platinum disc), entirely written by Måneskin and produced with Fabrizio Ferraguzzo, released on 26 October 2018. In February 2019 the group toured all over Europe , before returning to the main Italian clubs and festivals with the spring and summer tranche of “IL BALLO DELLA VITA TOUR”, which ended on 14 September 2019 with a special date at the Carroponte in Milan. Måneskin then performed on November 28, 2019 in a single special live at The Dome in London, which was sold out. Since September 2019, “Le parole farane”, the Italian single of the band certified platinum, has been on the radio. To date Damiano, Victoria, Thomas and Ethan have won 22 platinum records, 6 gold records and have collected more than 140,000 tickets sold with 70 sold out dates in Italy and Europe. On October 30, 2020 they release the new single “Vent’Anni” ( platinum disc ) accompanied by a photographic campaign signed by Oliviero Toscani. They win the 71st edition of the Sanremo Festival with the song “ ZITTI E BUONI ”, double platinum disc , and triumph at the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam, winning first place.
