24 maggio 2021 – Dopo la vittoria memorabile all’Eurovision Song Contest 2021 con “Zitti e Buoni” (doppio disco di platino), il nuovo progetto discografico dei Måneskin “Teatro d’ira – Vol. I”, uscito il 19 marzo, è certificato DISCO DI PLATINO. L’album ha totalizzato oltre 113 milioni di streaming.
A questo nuovo risultato va ad aggiungersi anche il disco di platino per il brano “Le parole lontane”.
I Måneskin con la loro energia hanno trasmesso in modo semplice e diretto il loro messaggio di libertà e voglia di lasciare il segno, anche in Europa. Scritto e composto interamente dalla band, “Zitti e Buoni”, canzone più ascoltata al mondo su Spotify fra i brani in gara tra marzo e maggio 2021 con oltre 52 milioni di streaming, ha portato all’Eurovision l’attitudine del gruppo che con questo brano carico e le loro sonorità crude e distorte si sono distinti nella gara.
In questi giorni in cui si guarda al futuro della ripartenza dei live, da Rotterdam è arrivato un gran segnale per la musica. Damiano, Victoria, Thomas ed Ethan sul palco dell’Ahoy Arena hanno mandato in visibilio il pubblico internazionale: primo gruppo italiano ad esibirsi, dopo oltre un anno di fermo, davanti a una platea in presenza, oltre a milioni di spettatori collegati da tutto il mondo (in Italia la finale è stata trasmessa in diretta su Rai Uno).
“Teatro d’ira – Vol. I” (ora disco di platino) è il primo volume di un progetto più ampio che si svilupperà nel corso dell’anno e che racconterà in tempo quasi reale gli sviluppi creativi della band insieme alle prossime importanti esperienze, fra le quali anche questa dell’Eurovision. Un percorso ambizioso e in continuo divenire, partito con il primo singolo “Vent’anni” certificato disco di platino. “Teatro d’ira – Vol. I” è stato registrato in presa diretta al Mulino Recording Studio di Acquapendente (VT), rimandando alle atmosfere analogiche dei bootleg anni ’70, con l’idea e la voglia di ricreare la dimensione live vissuta dal gruppo in Italia e in Europa nel loro primo lungo tour di 70 date sold out. Un disco tutto suonato, crudo, contemporaneo, capace di rappresentare lo stile e il sound della band.
Arrivato a distanza di due anni dalla pubblicazione de “Il ballo della vita”, doppio disco di platino, “Teatro d’ira – Vol. I” ha conquistato la posizione #6 nella Top 10 Global Album Debuts di Spotify, dopo aver debuttato in posizione #1 nella classifica album FIMI/Gfk e #1 nella classifica dei vinili più venduti ad una settimana dall’uscita.
I Måneskin il prossimo dicembre suoneranno dal vivo per la prima volta sui palchi dei più importanti palazzetti italiani, dove presenteranno il loro secondo album “Teatro d’ira – Vol. I” in un tour di 11 date, organizzato e prodotto da Vivo Concerti. La band ha mandato sold out in pochissimo i concerti previsti al Palazzetto dello Sport di Roma (14 e 15 dicembre 2021) e del Mediolanum Forum di Assago (18 e 19 dicembre), a cui si è aggiunto un terzo show al palazzetto di Milano, previsto per il 22 marzo 2022. La tournée farà tappa il 20 marzo all’Unipol Arena di Casalecchio di Reno (BO), il 26 marzo al PalaPartenope di Napoli, il 31 marzo al Nelson Mandela Forum di Firenze, il 3 aprile al Pala Alpitour di Torino, l’8 aprile al PalaFlorio di Bari e si concluderà nell’iconica Arena di Verona il 23 aprile 2022. Questo sarà un live evento che vedrà i Måneskin aprire la stagione dei grandi concerti 2022 dell’Arena.
Con 20 dischi di platino e 4 dischi d’oro i Måneskin oltre alle certificazioni discografiche, al successo nei live, aggiungono un tassello importante al loro percorso artistico e un riconoscimento internazionale con l’indimenticabile vittoria a Eurovision, rimettendo la musica italiana al centro attraverso il loro stile: una grande soddisfazione che il gruppo porta a casa senza scendere a compromessi con un brano che ha conquistato il pubblico di tutto il mondo.
