Nell’arco della serata ci si imbatte in momenti piuttosto divertenti, tra le difficoltà di Massimiliano Giletti che confessa di non aver capito nulla di quello che dice Miss Amazzonia, e le domande improvvisate della giuria, che proprio non si era preparata ai quesiti come Luca Toni che chiede ad una miss se le piace di più il mare o la montagna poi cambia domanda salvandosi come si suol dire in corner.
Miss Italy in the World is Kimberly Castillo Mota Miss Italy Dominican Republic, second place Giuseppina Cannella Miss Italy Germany, third place Esmeralda Yanicke, Miss Italy Amazonia. Miss Italy in the world 2009 Diana Curmei leaves the crown to Kimberly Castillo Mota. The programme is co-hosted by Massimiliano Giletti and Cristina Chiabotto among the judges, there are Mara Venier, Luca Toni, Sergio Múñiz. One of the special guests is Maria Perruso Miss Italy 2009 up till the next edition. During the programme there are such funny moments, among these, Massimiliano Giletti confesses that he can’t understand anything about what Miss Amazonia says and the unrehearsed questions of the jury that wasn’t ready for these queries like the football player Luca Toni who asks a Miss if she prefers the mountain or the seaside, then he changes question so he’s saved by the bell. (In Italian slang the common saying ‘saved by the bell’ is ‘si è salvato in corner’ from a sport term)
