I due protagonisti eliminati dalla gara di Dancing with the stars australiano di questa settimana sono Jodi Gordon e Stefano Oliveri. Andiamo a conoscere meglio i due partner.
Jodi Gordon è nata a Mackay 23 anni fa, conosciuta come Martha MacKenzie nella serie tv “Home and Away”. La sua passione per la recitazione è iniziata alla High School e a 13 anni la sua vita è cambiata quando ha vinto un concorso di bellezza e un contratto con la Viviens Model Management e ha così iniziato la carriera di indossatrice. 
Ha viaggiato in Giappone e lavorato per diverse riviste e spot pubblicitari sia nazionali che internazionali. Nel 2003 ha viaggiato e lavorato in giro per l’Europa trasferendosi a Milano e Londra per 11 mesi.
Jodi Gordon è tornata a Sydney nel 2004 dove ha proseguito i suoi impegni come indossatrice finchè non ha intrapreso il ruolo di Martha in “Home and Away”.
Nel 2006 Jodi ha ricevuto il premio come nuovo miglior talento femminile. Gli hobby di Jodi sono il teatro lo shopping i film le immersioni, i viaggi e l’arte. E’ appassionata di moda e stile, ed è stata di recente il volto per la casa marca di gioielli Diva.
Il due volte campione di New Zealand Dancing with the star, Stefano Oliveri fa il suo debutto nella tv australiana.
Cantante, attore e ballerino, Stefano Oliveri ha studiato alla Actors Centre Australia prima di fare il suo debutto professionale nel 2002. Quell’anno ha preso parte al film “The quiet American e anche a due musical “Westside Story” e “Chicago” ed è stato nominato campione di ballo da sala australiano e campione di ballo australiano e asiatico. Ha preso parte anche alla cerimonia di chiusure dei giochi olimpici di Sydney. Da allora ha accumulato numerosi titoli incluso quello di campione professionista di ballo dei Singapore International Open nel 2003, di campione di ballo professionista australiano, nel 2003 e 2004, di IDSF World Champion New Vogue e quello di campione professionista australiano di ballo dal 2005 al 2007.
A teatro ha recitato in “Cruisin” “Footloose” e “Ballroom” nel musical “Floorplay” e in “Burn the floor” nelle stagioni 2004 e 2006. Ha anche diretto la versione musicale di “Moulin Rouge”.
“Mi è piaciuto molto fare parte dello show, – afferma Jodi parlando della sua esperienza a Dancing with the stars – è stata una bella sfida riuscire a concernere gli allenamenti della gara di Dancing e allo stesso tempo gli impegni di Home and Away. Il mio ballo preferito è stato il jive, l’ho trovato difficile ma anche divertente. Voglio proseguire con il ballo, imparare nuove tecniche nuovi passi”

Chissà che non rivedremo Jodi Gordon ballare in qualche film o da qualche parte ancora insieme a Stefano Oliveri…

The two dancing with the Stars attendants who were eliminated from the dancing competition of this week are Jordi Gordon and Stefano Oliveri. Let’s know better the two dance partners.
Born in Mackay, 23-year-old Jodi Gordon is most well known for her portayal of Martha MacKenzie on Home and Away.
Her interest in drama was sparked in high school and at the age of 13, Jodie’s life changed when she wan a modelling competition. She gained a contract with Viviens and began modelling. She travelled to Japan and worked on various editorial, advertorial and commercials both nationally and internationally. In 2003, she worked and travelled trhoughout Europe, basing herself in Milan and London for 11 months. Jodi arrived back in Sydney in 2004, where she continued her modelling assignments untile she successfully auditoined for the role of Martha on Home and Away. In 2006, Jodi was awarded for “Most Popular New Female Talent”. Her hobbies include theatre, shopping, movies, diving, travelling and art. Jodi is passionate about styling and fashion and was recently the face of jewellery brand Diva.
Two time New Zealand Dancing with the Stars champion Stefano Oliveri makes his Australian Television dancefloor debut.
Singer, dancer and actors, Oliveri previously trained at the Actors Centre Australia bifore making a professoinal spalsh in 2002. That year, he appeared in the feature film “The quiet american” as well as two musical “Westside Story” and “Chicago” and was named the Australian ballroom and Australasian Dancesport Champion. He also performed at the Sydney Olympic Games Closing Ceremony.
Since then, Oliveri has accumulated numerous titles, includine the 2003 Singapore International Open Professional Dancesport Champion, the 2003/2004 Australian Professional Dancesport Champion, the IDSF World Champion New Vogue and the 2005 to 2007 Australian Professional Dancesport Champion. Theatrically he has appeared in “Cruisin” “Footloose” Ballroom, the musical “Floorplay” and 2004 and 2006 seasons of “Burn the Floor”. He also directed the musical version of “Moulin Rouge”.
“I definitely enjoyed the performing part of the show – Jodi says talking about her experience on Dancing with the Stars – it’s quite hard to keep up our work schedale as well as the Dancing schedale. So I knew what I had come for me, but it was challenging. Jive was definitely one of my favourites. It was very hard but it was fun. I’m really starting to enjoy dancing not just the training, but also learning different techniques and the steps, it would be great to continue with that”
Every dancing with the stars protagonist gives the money raised with the competition to a charity organization.
Maybe one day we could see Jordi dancing in a movie or performing somewhere with Stefano…
