Congratulazioni a Luke Jacobz e Luda Kroitor proclamati vincitori dell’ottava serie di Dancing with the stars!
Andiamo a conoscere meglio i due vincitori di questa edizione 2008.
Luke Jakobz ha sempre mostrato un interesse nello sport e nel campo dello spettacolo fin da piccolo.Ha studiato arti drammatiche e ha preso parte a numerosi spot e ruoli di ospite. Dopo avere lasciato la scuola ha avviato un apprendistato di idraulico ma poi ha deciso di seguire la recitazione all’età di 17 anni, con il ruolo di Zac Croft nella serie tv “Heartbreak High”. In seguito ha lavorato nel campo turistico. Dopo aver gestito un ostello della gioventù ha ottenuto un travel bug nel 2000 e ha quindi viaggiato in giro per l’Europa e il Regno Unito.
Lo stesso anno ha lavorato come rappresentate promozionale per la Pepsi Taste Challenge che lo ha condotto al ruolo di ospite nello show per bambini “The big Arvo”.
Ha anche preso parte al cast della nota serie tv “Le sorelle Mcleod” (da noi in onda su Hallmark) e recentemente alla serie tv “Seven’s” e a “Home and Away” nel ruolo di Angelo Rosetta.
Luke ama il calcio, il campeggio, giocare a bocce e i Parramatta Eels.
La cinque volte campionessa mondiale di Salsa Luda Kroitor era la rappresentante australiana di salsa nel mondo del 2004 e ai Japanese Open Champion nella categoria ballo da sala latino nel 1998. Nel 2000 era anche campionessa australiana nella sezione giovani del ballo latino americano.
E’ stata classificata ottava al mondo nel ballo latino e ha vinto “Strictly Dancing” con Csaba Szirmai.
Ha studiato a livello internazionale, facendo parte del Castle Hill Dance Centre in Australia, del Semli Dance Center a Londra e della Orlando’s Diamond Dancesport Organization.
Ha preso parte a numerose esibizioni di ballo incluso il tour statunitense di “Burn the floor” ed è stata coreografa di “So you think you can dance Australia”.
Le sue partecipazioni televisive includono “Strictly Dancing”, “The Midday Show”, “Good Weekender”, “The cool room”, “ESPN”, “Sunrise” e “Channel V” così come numerosi spot televisivi.
Parlando di ballo, Luke dice che il suo genere preferito è il Walzer. “E’ davvero un bel genere di ballo e ho lavorato piuttosto duramente in proposito – dice il campione di Dancing with the stars – ho assolutamente intenzione di continuare con le lezioni, potrei anche allenarmi insieme a mio fratello”

Let’s know better the two Dancing with the stars 2008 Australian champions.
Luke Jakobz always showed an interest in sports and performing arts from an early age. At school he studied drama and appeared in numerous tv commercials and guest roles. After leaving school, he undertook a plumbing apprenticeship but decided to pursue acting at the age of 17, snaring a full-time role of Zac Croft in the Tv hit “Heartbreak High”.
Afterwards he worked in retail and hospitality. After managing a youth hostel, he got the travel bug in 2000 and journeyed extensively through Europe and the Uk . Later that year, he worked as a promotional representative for the Pepsi Taste Challenge which led him to a hosting role on children’s show “The Big Arvo.” He also joined the cast of “Mcleod’s daughters” and recently joined “Seven’s” and serial drama “Home and Away” as cop Angelo Rosetta. Luke loves soccer, camping, cooking and lawn bowls and the Parramatta Eels.
The current 5 time World Salsa Champion, Luda Kroitor was previously the Australian Salsa Representative to the World in 2004 and Japanese Open Champion in the Ballroom Latin category in 1998. In 2000, she was also the Australian Youth Champion in Ballroom Latin.
She has been previously ranked 8th in the world for Ballroom Latin and won “Strictly Dancing” with Csaba Szirmai. She is internationally trained, having studied at the Castle Hill Dance Centre in Australia , the Semli Dance Center in London and Orlando ’s Diamond Dancesport Organization. She has appeared in a number of dance exhibitions, including the USA tour of “Burn the floor” and was choreographer on “So you think you can dance Australia” . Her television credits include “Strictly Dancing”, “The Midday Show”, “Good Weekender”, “The Cool Room”, “ESPN”, “Sunrise” and “Channel V” as well as numerous television commercials.
Talking about dance, Luke says that His favorite one is the Waltz. “It was a really nice dance and the worked pretty hard on that – says the dancing with the stars champion – I’m definitely going to continue with lessons actually, I might have even roped in my brother to do a bit of dancing to”.
